Miami-Dade Elections Headquarters to remain open until midnight Monday for voter registration deadline!
Staff will be on hand until 11:59 p.m. October 5 to assist eligible citizens registering to vote for the November 3 General Election
Democracy depends on participation, and Miami-Dade Elections is making sure every eligible citizen has every opportunity to be Election Ready.
The deadline to register to vote for the November 3 General Election is Monday, October 5, 2026. To make voter registration as convenient as possible, Miami-Dade Elections Headquarters in Doral – 2700 NW 87 Avenue – will remain open until 11:59 p.m. that day, with knowledgeable staff available to assist eligible citizens who have not yet registered.
“Elections are the bedrock of our democracy, and every eligible citizen should have the opportunity to make their voice heard. We are keeping our doors open late so that no one misses the opportunity to register and participate in our democratic process,” said Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia. “And remember, young people can pre-register at 16, so they are ready to vote the moment they turn 18. Being Election Ready is an act of civic responsibility and a celebration of the freedom we are privileged to exercise as Americans.”
Registered voters have three safe and convenient ways to cast their ballot in the General Election: by mail, during Early Voting, or on Election Day.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is October 22. Early Voting will be available at 28 locations from October 19 through November 1, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
“Your vote is your voice, your right and your opportunity to help shape the future of our community, our state and our nation,” Supervisor Garcia added. “Our commitment is to conduct elections that are secure, accurate, transparent and accessible to every eligible voter.”
