Polls are open for the November 3, 2026 General Election
The Miami-Dade County Office of the Supervisor of Elections reminds voters that today, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, is General Election Day, and polls are now open and will remain open until 7 p.m. Eligible Miami-Dade County voters are encouraged to make their voices heard by casting their ballot.
The 2026 General Election gives voters the opportunity to make their voices heard on important contests at the federal, state and local levels, as well as judicial races and municipal contests and ballot questions that may appear depending on where a voter resides. Florida offices up for election in 2026 include U.S. Senate and U.S. House seats, Governor and Lieutenant Governor, statewide Cabinet offices, State Senate and State House seats, along with county and judicial offices. There are also amendments and questions on the ballot.
Voters can find important election information, including their assigned precinct and customized sample ballot, by visiting www.votemiamidade.gov/elections/voters/information.page, and are encouraged to review their information and ballot before heading to the polls. Election Day voters must vote at their assigned polling location.
Voters who requested a Vote-by-Mail ballot and have not yet returned it may still do so in person by dropping it off at the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections Headquarters or the SOE Branch Office at the Stephen P. Clark Center no later than 7:00 p.m. today. Vote-by-Mail ballots cannot be returned at polling places on Election Day and must be received by the Supervisor of Elections by 7 p.m.
Today on Election Day, voters can only vote at their assigned precinct which can be found on their Voter Information Card. Any voter who is in line at their assigned polling location by 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to remain in line and vote.
“Today, Miami-Dade County voters have the opportunity to make their voices heard on important decisions at every level of government,” said Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia. “From federal and statewide offices to local contests, amendments, and municipal questions, every eligible voter deserves the opportunity to participate in our democratic process. I encourage all eligible voters who have not yet cast their ballots to make a plan, be prepared and make their voice count before the polls close at 7 p.m.”
