Landscape Irrigation Evaluations

As part of countywide efforts to reduce water use and improve efficiency, free landscape irrigation evaluations are offered to single-family homeowners and large property owners (i.e. condominium associations, commercial properties, etc.).

Rebates are available for completing irrigation retrofits recommended during the evaluation.

To receive a free evaluation:
- The property must have an existing, functioning in-ground irrigation system (including pump, irrigation lines and spray heads)
- To qualify for rebates, a post-retrofit evaluation must be scheduled.
- Receipts or invoices must be itemized, showing the cost for labor and individual parts purchased, and show payment in full
- Retrofit proof of payment must be provided within 6 months of the evaluation or by Aug. 31, whichever comes first.
Single-family homeowners are eligible for retrofit rebates up to $500 a year over 5 years for a total of $2,500 in rebates.
Large property owners are eligible for retrofit rebates up to $2,850 per property.
