Explore Key Biscayne's Half Moon Shipwreck on this 2-hour snorkel cruise! Only a 10-minute ride from Crandon Marina aboard our 45' Parks Catamaran, the Half Moon Wreck is a 47-foot steel yacht that sank off the coast of Key Biscayne in 1930. The wreck lies in very shallow water, only 8 feet at low tide, making it ideal for underwater photography and snorkeling! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Half Moon serves as an artificial reef attracting an array of marine life, including stingrays, nurse sharks, mollusks, lobsters and a colorful host of fish and lobsters.

Led by an experienced Naturalist, you'll cruise through the scenic waters of Biscayne Bay to discover three of South Florida's most iconic lighthouses—Cape Florida, Fowey Rocks, and Boca Chita—while learning about their rich maritime history and cultural significance.
Your journey also takes you through the enchanting community of Stiltsville before arriving at Boca Chita Key, where you'll have the opportunity to explore Biscayne National Park's iconic lighthouse up close. Along the way, keep watch for South Florida's incredible wildlife, including playful dolphins, graceful sea turtles, and a variety of coastal and shore birds.
