Elevators and Escalators Status

Our crews and contractors are actively working to ensure that all 193 units within the entire Metrorail and Metromover systems are well maintained and operating. As such, some of the units may be placed temporarily out of service for regular maintenance or minor repairs.
We're also working to fast-track the escalator replacement project at Brickell Metromover Station and on the modernization of 31 elevator and escalator units at these five Metrorail stations: Dadeland South, Dadeland North, Government Center, UHealth Jackson and Tri-Rail. These major upgrades are long-term projects.
