Fleet Management Division Rate Structure

Labor

• Heavy Equipment: $85 per hour
• Light Equipment: $91 per hour

Work performed on Overtime or on County Holidays will be billed at time and a half or double time.

Commercial Repairs

• Heavy Equipment: Cost plus 20 percent markup over invoice
• Light Equipment: Cost plus 25 percent markup over invoice

Parts

• Heavy Equipment: Cost plus 20 percent markup over invoice
• Light Equipment: Cost plus 25 percent markup over invoice

Fuel

• Cost plus 20 cent surcharge per gallon for County Customers
• Cost plus 20 cent surcharge plus applicable state tax per gallon for External Customers

Pool Vehicles

• 55 cents per mile (inclusive of repairs, fuel and Sunpass tolls) plus the following daily rate:
• Sedans $21.70 per day (more than five hours) or $10.85 for less than five hours
• Vans $26.90 per day (more than five hours) or $13.45 for less than five hours
• SUVs $26.90 per day (more than five hours) or $13.45 for less than five hours
• Pick-up Trucks $33.40 per day (more than five hours) or $16.70 for less than five hours
• Medium and Heavy-Duty (Class4) $33.40 per day (more than five hours) or $16.70 for less than five hours

For vehicles kept overnight, pool vehicles are charged 10 hours max per day, Monday – Friday. There is no hourly charge for weekends.
