Traffic Concurrency Review
One of the components for platting new subdivisions and zoning applications within unincorporated Miami-Dade County is the review of available traffic capacity and the impact to the level of service resulting from new development.
Traffic capacity trips are reserved for the approved tentative plat and are assigned during the Plat Committee meeting. The traffic capacity reservation is valid only as long as the tentative plat is active.
Tentative plats that are allowed to expire forfeit capacity reservation and must be revaluated prior to approval. The period for capacity reservation for the approved tentative plat is established and regulated by Chapters 28, 33G of the code of Miami-Dade County along with and Administrative Order 4-85.
