Closing In On 10,000 – A Housing Summit Presentations

Closing In On 10,000 – A Housing Summit was held on Oct. 7, at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus' Chapman Center.

The focus of the Summit was to ensure that 10,000 affordable and workforce units will be completed or in progress (financially closed or under construction) by November 2020.

The event was comprised of five panels on selected projects representing developments such as elderly housing, transit-oriented development project, public housing mixed-income/mixed-use development under the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD). In addition, there were also two policy panels and discussions relevant to funding sources and best practices in the allocation of resources and inclusivity strategies for transforming neighborhoods.
