Employees play a crucial role during the pandemic

As part of Miami-Dade County’s efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, County employees are playing a vital role in assisting our community by distributing safety kits and educational tips to communities in COVID-19 hot spots. The effort is part of the County’s SURGE Outreach teams.

SURGE stands for Strategic Urban Response to Guideline Education. SURGE teams go door-to-door, providing residents information on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Safety kids included hand sanitizer, mask, gloves and educational materials.
