The new CBO Grant Process for Human and Social Services (CBO2425), administered by Miami-Dade County’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), is open through Jan. 31, 2024.
Applications for grant funding are being accepted from eligible organizations, with federal 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, that provide direct human and social services in Miami-Dade County. CBOs that lack 501(c)(3) status may enter into partnerships with eligible organizations.
Funding categories are Health and Well-being, Education Supports, Basic Needs and Personal Emergencies, and Public Safety Supports (and multiple sub-categories are included within each category). In any area, applicants will define their target population and propose programs and services to address their needs.
- Pre-Application Conferences will be held on Dec. 8, 11, and 13, 2023. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.
- Applicant technical assistance (TA) sessions kick-off on Dec. 16, 2023, with four workshops bundled into a Saturday series for easy access. Workshops will continue Jan.4-16, 2024.
- Applications must be submitted online through the OMB Grants Coordination Portal no later than 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2024. Applicants are urged to submit 24 hours or more in advance to ensure they have time to respond to any system notifications or rejections of incomplete applications.
Cone of Silence protocols apply to this process. Questions should be emailed to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected].
