File a Complaint Against Corrections Employees

Cases can take up to 6 months to review based on the following:

• Nature and complexity of the case.
• Availability of witnesses.
• Involvement of other investigating agencies such as the State Attorney’s Office, federal and local law enforcement.

The person making the complaint (complainant) and the subject of the complaint will be notified in writing via US mail when the review/investigation is completed. 

Both the complainant and subject are encouraged to contact us to discuss the progress and/or completion of the case file.  

Under Florida Public Records Law, all completed (closed) cases become public record after the disposition is finalized and available for review during normal business hours.
