The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is developing the first-ever Countywide Transportation Master Plan (CTMP) as per a directive from the Board of County Commissioners (Resolution R-138-22). The CTMP will identify capital investment projects and improvement initiatives for transit, pedestrian, bicycle, roadways, and freight to be completed throughout Miami-Dade County in the next 20 years.

To gather feedback, DTPW will be conducting additional community listening sessions at several locations throughout the County. Dates and locations will be announced soon.

Additionally, a short six-question survey is available for those who'd like to submit feedback about mobility improvements for the County. Take the survey now.

The CTMP is aligned with the department’s SHIFT305 strategy, a far-reaching, innovative action plan that will deliver a more efficient, connected, safe and clean transportation system for Miami-Dade County.

Plans and execution of the CTMP will also align and maintain consistency with existing strategic plans and initiatives from Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, the Board of County Commissioners and DTPW.
