Go Miami-Dade App Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you have an existing EASY Pay or Transit Store account, you can use the same username and password to log in. Alternatively, you do not need a login to access all the app’s features, like tracking and planning a trip.
  • You can access features like reloading your EASY card, ordering a new one, managing your monthly parking, or managing your license plates. Just go to the Buy tab and click on Manage Cards in the EASY Cards section.
  • We are currently working on a new rewards program, GO Rewards, as a way of giving back to our transit riders and having you earn points by engaging with content while you ride with us.
  • The GO Miami-Dade app features all the functionality of the previous Miami-Dade Transit Tracker app as well as the option to report an incident and purchase mobile passes. GO Miami-Dade combines Miami-Dade Transit’s existing applications -- Tracker, Transit Watch, and EASY Pay -- all into one easy-to-use mobile app.
  • Click on the “Buy” option on the bottom of your screen. Either log into your existing Transit Store or EASY Pay account or register. Once you login, you will be able to buy a new mobile pass or manage existing EASY Cards.
  • Yes. An account is required to manage EASY Cards or purchase mobile passes.
  • Yes. You can safely and securely save your credit card information for a faster checkout.
  • At the moment, riders can purchase a 1-Day or 7-Day mobile pass.
  • Activated mobile passes will display via the Buy tab on the bottom of your screen. They will also appear under the Activated Wallet section on the home screen. If there are no activated mobile passes, the Activated Wallet section will not display on the home screen. Additionally, non-activated mobile passes will be accessible via the Buy tab.
  • Unfortunately, you cannot access mobile passes purchased via EASY Pay on GO Miami-Dade. You will need to use those passes with the EASY Pay app.
  • No, unfortunately, you will need to tap your physical EASY Card onto the faregate or fareboxes. Alternatively, contactless payment has been enabled systemwide so that you may use your digital wallet on your smartphone, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, to tap in.
  • If you’ve lost your plastic EASY Card, you can order a new one to be mailed to your address in the Buy section by clicking on Order a new EASY Card. We strongly recommend that you always register your EASY Card number to your account so that if it’s ever lost we can transfer value from an old card to a new card.
  • You can track your ride via the Track tab on the bottom of your screen. Transit tracking, route information, station information, rider alerts and service updates are available in this tab. From the Track tab, click on the bus, rail or mover icons and click on tracker, rider alerts or services update links for each mode.
  • This typically happens when the GPS on board a bus is not properly reporting its location. This could also occur when a bus has not been assigned to the route or when the vehicle is not in proximity of its first stop.
  • Be sure to enable location services for GO Miami-Dade in your phone’s settings. The app will be able to see where you are in proximity to a nearby Metrobus stop or Metrorail or Metromover station.
  • Nearby covers a 5 mile radius from your current location.
  • Yes. This app will allow riders the ability to plan their trip from point A to point B.
  • Yes. Our Transit Watch app will still exist as a separate app -- although riders can report incidents via GO Miami-Dade -- however, the EASY Pay app will begin to be phased out in the coming months. More information will be provided once details become available. EASY Pay users will have substantial time to transition.
