This program is being advanced by the Department of Transportation and Public Works through the USDOT Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) Grant Program. This initiative, part of a larger multi-city collaborative effort, aims to significantly enhance urban transportation systems within Miami-Dade County by addressing complex challenges in bike lane safety, e-delivery/micro-freight monitoring, secured micro-freight parking, and common freight analytics.
