Taxicabs - Passenger Information Laws & Tips
A taxicab is a for-hire motor vehicle that transports up to eight passengers and provides either street hail or pre-arranged service. Cabs are equipped with a taximeter, and the passenger controls the route and destination. Taxicab drivers must have a chauffeur's registration posted and vehicle license.
