County offices to close for Presidents Day

Miami-Dade County offices will close Monday, Feb. 16 to observe Presidents Day. Read about service changes on the holiday and look for events and County locations to help you plan for the long weekend.

County Services

• Miami-Dade County administrative offices will be closed
• Libraries will be closed Monday, Feb. 16
• Miami-Dade Transit will run on a regular schedule
• Solid Waste Management will be offering regularly scheduled waste and recycling services

Weekend Activities

• Spend time with the whole family at Miami-Dade County Parks. Enjoy nature trails, go on our waterways or enjoy a number of activities offered by Miami-Dade Parks in our outdoor spaces
• Spend the long weekend learning about the history of South Florida. Visit Deering Estate or Vizcaya to learn more about these historic spaces and how they contribute to our community today
• Fruit & Spice Park and Zoo Miami will be open for everyone to enjoy. Choose an attraction that interests you to enjoy the holiday weekend.
