Halloween fun for everyone

Halloween doesn't have to give you goosebumps. Celebrate at one of the many haunted happenings throughout our County, including Trunk or Treat, where you can get creative decorating your car's trunk, then gather in a parking lot where kids and adults go from car to car collecting candy. Read the list of events and safety tips to ensure that you have a fun, safe Halloween.

Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces will be hosting numerous family-friendly events.

Events at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
Have a BOOtanical Halloween at  Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, located at 10901 Old Cutler Road in Coral Gables.

Daily throughout October

• 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  Haunted Birdhouses and Creepy Critters
  Adventure through the garden in search of 13 hidden, not-so-scary, haunted birdhouses! Find them all and claim your prize.
