Celebrate Juneteenth with historical and cultural events

County offices and libraries will be closed Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day, a federal holiday in the United States that commemorates the end of slavery in the country.
County Services
- County offices will be closed
- Solid Waste Management will collect curbside garbage or trash
- Miami‑Dade Libraries will be closed
- Transit will operate on a normal schedule
- Regulatory & Economic Resources offices, including the Permitting and Inspection Center (The PIC) will be closed
