Women in Miami-Dade County have played a critical role in our region’s history and growth and development. Our community holds the unique distinction of being the only great American city to be founded by a woman, Julia Tuttle. Under the leadership of Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, we’re proud to support women leaders, invest in women business owners, and elevate women's voices across Miami-Dade.
