Department of Transportation and Public Works to provide regular weekday transit service during Presidents’ Day
On Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents’ Day, the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will provide regular weekday service on Metrobus, Metrorail, Metromover, and MetroConnect.
Miami-Dade County offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, including all DTPW administrative offices, Customer Service centers, and Special Transportation Service (STS) offices. STS customers may continue to reserve or cancel trips by calling 305-871-1111 (TTY users: 800-955-8771 or 711) between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Transit riders who prefer to access services online can purchase or reload an EASY Card through the Transit Store or by using the GO Miami-Dade Transit app, Token Transit app, Citymapper, Transit app, Moovit, SoFloGo, or use contactless payments to pay fares.
Customers may also submit a new application for a Golden Passport EASY Card through DTPW’s Golden Passport online page or report a lost item through Lost and Found.
To stay informed about transit service updates and alerts, riders can sign up at miamidade.gov/alerts or follow DTPW on social media via Facebook, X, and Instagram.
