Plat Committee Meetings
The Plat Committee is comprised of representatives from several Miami-Dade County departments and State agencies.
Waiver of plats within areas of unincorporated Miami-Dade County that have an approval recommendation from the Plat Committee, along with final plats that have an active approved tentative plat and comply with all the administrative requirements, are placed on the next available Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners’ agenda. The plat becomes a legal buildable site 10 days after the approval of the Miami-Dade County Commissioners.
The Plat Committee meets every Friday at 9 a.m. in the 11th floor conference room of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center. The meeting is also available virtually; interested parties may participate by:
- Registering in advance online for, and log on to, a Zoom webinar
- If you cannot attend online, register, and you will receive a dial-in number
After the meeting occurs, it may also viewed online and final Plat Committee results will be posted online.
Emails read into the record must not exceed two minutes. Emails must include your name, address and the Plat Committee item you wish to address. If you have any questions or require additional information regarding the virtual meeting, call Raul Pino at 305-375-2112.
