About the Committee

The committee provides focused oversight of the fiscal, intergovernmental and economic impacts of governmental actions affecting Miami-Dade County’s budget, services and long-term financial health. The Committee also evaluates state and federal legislation, regulatory changes and policy initiatives for effects on County operations, revenues, expenditures and service delivery. Additionally, the committee serves as a forum for impact analysis and long-range planning, provide oversight of policies affecting Miami-Dade County employees and offer recommendations to support sound fiscal planning and informed intergovernmental policy positions.

Committee Members

* Co-chairs will rotate as chair and vice chair for each committee meeting. Each chair will serve until the committee meeting adjourns, at which point the vice chair becomes the chair and vice-versa. Commissioner Milian Orbis will serve as the first chair and Commissioner Lopez will serve as the first vice chair.
