Metrorail and Metromover will run regular weekday service with extended hours until 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, so you can ring in the New Year and then ride home with us.
The following is the complete service schedule that Miami-Dade Transit will be providing:
Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024
- Metrobus, MetroConnect and MetroLink will operate on a regular weekday schedule
- Metrorail and Metromover will operate extended service until 2 a.m., with Green and Orange Line trains running every 30 minutes.
Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025
- Metrobus and MetroConnect will operate on a Sunday schedule
- MetroLink does not provide service during county observed holidays
- Metrorail and Metromover will operate on a regular weekend schedule.
For those attending celebrations in Downtown Miami on New Year’s Eve, the last northbound and southbound trains will depart from Government Center Station at approximately 2:00 a.m. Entry to Metrorail stations will not be permitted after 2:00 a.m., only exiting.
Parking facilities at Metrorail stations will remain open through the following day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, until 3 a.m.
All Miami-Dade County offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, including all DTPW administrative offices, Customer Service offices, the Golden Passport office at the Stephen P. Clark Center, Lost and Found and Contact Center.
Special Transportation Services (STS) will not be impacted by this county-observed holiday and will run regular service. STS customers can call the STS reservation number (305-871-1111) to reserve or cancel an STS trip.
Transit riders who prefer to access services online can purchase or reload an EASY Card in the Transit Store or the Go-Miami Dade App, Token Transit App, Citymapper, Transit App, or use Contactless Payment to pay fares. Real-time information is always available on the GO app, Transit App, and other trip planning apps.
Customers can also submit a new application for a Golden Passport EASY Card on DTPW’s Golden Passport online page or report a lost item at Lost and Found.
