Conducting Public Procurement Remote Meetings During the Declared COVID-19 State of Emergency
These procedures are intended to provide guidance and information to centralized procurement staff, client department procurement liaisons and project managers, and the vendor community and public at large, on how Miami-Dade County's procurement process is being conducted remotely during the declared COVID-19 State of Emergency. Please know that these are living documents, and subject to updates as federal, state and local policies evolve in managing the existing health emergency.
Vendors with a Miami-Dade County business address who are registered with the Internal Services Department are required to renew their Local Business Tax Receipt (formally Occupational License) by Sept. 30.
Effective Nov. 2, vendors who have not renewed their Local Business Tax Receipt will have their registration placed in inactive status. Please take a moment to renew your company’s Local Business Tax Receipt to ensure there is continuity in contracting and timely payment for current contracts with Miami-Dade County.
Kindly renew online or call the Miami-Dade Tax Collector’s Office at 305-270-4949. The Tax Collector’s Office is located at 200 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33128. Upon renewing your Local Business Tax Receipt, your vendor status will be activated.
