SHIFT305 - An initiative to revitalize Miami-Dade’s Transportation System by 2025 which encompasses four goals: Safe, Clean, Efficient, and Connected.

DTPW is committed to providing transportation in Miami-Dade County that is resilient to climate impacts now and sustainable for future generations.

- Plan and act for resiliency and adaptation
- Design streets and services to mitigate sea level rise, excessive heat, and other climate effects
- Make biking and walking easy and enjoyable, especially for short-distance trips
- Provide infrastructure, training and support to make the transition to zero-carbon vehicles by 2030
- Embed sustainability as a foundational consideration in all transportation policies, planning, design, construction and maintenance
- Increase mileage of greenways across Miami-Dade County
- Increase tree canopy for the overall comfort of roadway users and promotion of resilience
- Promote micro-mobility as a first and last-mile option to transit commuters
- Incentivize active transportation through the design and implementation of an e-bike/e-scooter rebate program
- Support community electric vehicle adoption by streamlining the deployment of charging infrastructure that meets future demand
- Develop a zero emissions plan and implementation strategy

- Construction of The Underline Phase 2 and Phase 3
