SHIFT305 - An initiative to revitalize Miami-Dade’s Transportation System by 2025 which encompasses four goals: Safe, Clean, Efficient and Connected.

DTPW is committed to promoting a culture of safety and security by making Miami-Dade streets, paths and transportation services accessible to all and driven by data to ensure the highest quality of service.

- Inclusively plan, design, build and operate streets and services for safety and security
- Achieve a state of good repair
- Minimize deaths and serious injuries related to roadway accidents
- Increase mileage of protected bike lanes in Miami-Dade County by developing the Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan
- Develop and update DTPW design standards to align with best multimodal practices and consistent with the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the department
- Improve accessibility and connectivity for all customs with disabilities
- Assess DTPW facilities and assets and develop priority maintenance plan
- Continue construction improvements on the Dadeland South Intermodal Station to improve safety and enhance patron transferability between transit modes
